| Masks have been used in every culture and on every continent for celebrations, religious celebrations, festivals and parties for centuries. First popularized in medieval times, masquerades have influenced various institutions, the carnivals of Venice, Mardi Gras in New Orleans and Carnaval in Rio are some of the largest parties in the world. They have become the stuff of history, drama, comedy and tragedy and they continue to evolve. The costume parties of today are the most modern incarnation of these splendid events. Some features of UTM 2008 are:
Fabulous Foods and Cocktails from the chefs of the Fairmont, and Wines from J Lohr Winery

Silent Auction of elegently ecclectic items and services
The exclusive ACSV Mask Collection
